Alyson Lee Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on the 24th of March, 1974. She is an American host and actor on the television. Her credits include Willow Rosenberg (1997-1903) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lily Aldrin (2006), for which she won an award called the People's Choice Award (2009) as well as Michelle Flaherty (99-2012). Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller The Fool us since 2016. Hannigan is also the voice actor of Claire Clancy from Fancy Nancy (2018-2018). Hannigan is the sole daughter of Emilie (Posner) Haas (a real estate agent) and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan's mother is Jewish and her father is Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. When she was 11 she relocated to Hollywood with her mother. Her father was an agent for casting in Santa Barbara while she was there. She auditioned. Following high school, she attended California State University Northridge. Following high school she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, a sorority where she earned a psychology degree. Hannigan appeared in the 1988 film My Stepmother Is an Alien. Seth Green was one of her co-stars. Later, he was her partner on Buffy. In 1989, she got her first TV series role when she was cast as an actress on the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was just a teenager when she was a babysitter for the children of Bob Saget, her How I Met Your Mother co-star. Hannigan was then chosen to be Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's most beloved friend Buffy Summers. In 1997, Hannigan received the national media attention. She also cared for Bob Saget's kids on the show How I Met Your Mom. Angel asked her to reprise Willow's part in a few episodes.
